About the Product
iRadar is an enterprise technology platform designed to monitor cloud APIs, transactions, and operational anomalies across large-scale cloud environments. The application provides API owners, cloud practitioners, and technology leaders with actionable insights through intelligent alerting, risk scoring, and root-cause analysis, enabling teams to proactively identify and address potential service disruptions before they impact customers.


Process
My design effort focused on improving how teams investigate and understand anomalies within complex cloud ecosystems. Through research, stakeholder collaboration, workflow analysis, and iterative design, I focussed on a user experience to intuitively navigate large datasets, visually group related outliers, and enable rapid drill-down into root-causes. The solution combined predictive modeling, AWS technologies, and a rules engine into a unified interface that transformed a previously manual and fragmented process into an intuitive, data-driven experience.

Success
The successful implementation of iRadar empowered multiple technology teams to detect, diagnose, and respond to cloud infrastructure issues faster and with greater confidence. By surfacing real-time alerts, risk scores, and estimated root causes, the platform significantly improved operational visibility and incident response. The application's predictive monitoring capabilities proved especially valuable during major cloud service disruptions, helping teams quickly identify affected systems, prioritize remediation efforts, and mitigate the impact of the significant AWS outage events experienced in 2024.
